The official website of 2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu released a new character trailer for the upcoming anime. The anime is set for debut in January 2021 on the NoitaminA block in Japan.

The trailer introduces the six members of the high school Volleyball team. The six members are Kimichika Hajima, Yuni Kuroba, Akito Kanno, Misao Aoki, Shinichiro Oda, and Yusuke Okuma.

All six members have varying personalities. Some are cool and charming, while others are introverted or studious. All these unique players make up the Volleyball team, which is aiming for the nationals.

Will the differences between Kimichika and Yuni finally be solved?

A new visual for the anime has also been revealed. Visuals depicting the main characters in pairs will be released for four consecutive weeks. The anime is being produced by David Productions.

The first visual shows Kimichika tossing a ball in the air and Yuni looking at it. Both of them are sitting together in the practice room.

2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu is a light novel series based on a high school volleyball team and their struggles, penned by Yukako Kabei and illustrated by Aiji Yamakawa.

The novel series has three seasons, with two novels in the first, two in the second, and one in the third. The fourth season of the LN is currently in work.

Kabei launched the novel series back in July 2013, and in March 2015, she was approached by Shueisha, and since then, they have been publishing the LN series under Shueisha Bunko Imprint.

A manga adaptation also surfaced in July 2018 with the art by Aiji Yamakawa only; it serialized in Shueisha’s Josei Magazine Cocohana. It has been collected into one tankobon volume.

Now, it is being adapted into an anime television series by David Production. The first episode will air in January 2021.
