Anime ‘The Dangers in My Heart’ Set to Debut in April 2023
While animosity between the leads is par for the course in romantic comedies, ‘The Dangers in My Heart’ manga pushes things to an extreme. How so? Kyotaro Ichikawa, the male protagonist, has fantasies of killing Anna Yamada, the female protagonist.
Now, before you start thinking that Kyotaro has some kind of odd fetish, let me explain that he really just hates famous individuals like Anna. Kyotaro’s eventual softening toward her lends a touch of sweetness to an otherwise offbeat romantic comedy.
The latest teaser for the upcoming anime adaptation of the manga “The Dangers in My Heart” reveals that the show will premiere in April 2023.
Besides hearing the characters’ voices and Kyotaro reiterating that he doesn’t care about Anna, the teaser doesn’t give anything away. It also hints at the climactic event of their relationship—their first meeting in the library.
Readers of the manga will know that the events of the story are set in motion by the library scene. Anna admits to Kyotaro her weakness for candy and sweets, and he is shocked to learn what a klutz Anna really is.
The library scene with Ichikawa reading a book and Yamada blushingly staring at him is also featured in a new key visual.
Furthermore, a second teaser image has just been unveiled.
