The ninth chapter was titled “Days of Peace and Ease.” The episode opened with Red and Rit discussing the marketing strategy to sell as many hand warmers. Later, Tisse told Ruti that she met with Red at her food stall. Later on, Red and Rit were asked to visit Zoltan to meet with an ailing man.
They find that Undine is suffering from a magic drain. Meanwhile, Ruti and Tisse executed the plan of bringing back Godwin from the prison. Thus, they broke into the prison cell and got him out. Towards the end of the episode, Ruti, Tisse, and Godwin look for a safe house to reside in. To his surprise, Godwin found his brother on the journey.
