The show has become so popular that it has a panel at Comic-Con. Since it’s Gundam, you know it will reveal some exciting stuff.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International has revealed that the anime will be simulcast outside Japan in October.

Along with this, the panel also hosted the English-subtitled debut of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Prologue.

The prequel ONA premiered on July 14 and became an instant hit in Japan. Now that the English-subtitled version is out, I can only imagine the massive praise it will receive.

Coming to the main series, it is the fifteenth anime series in Gundam’s main storyline after Iron-Blooded Orphans. By the looks of it, I’m pretty sure this one will break records.

Moreover, the story is really intriguing, and the promotional media have taken our expectations to a new high. It will take Gundam in a highly political direction, with protests and capitalism as some of its themes.

I’m surprised how the fandom is not creating absolute chaos on the internet over this.
