On November 14, Aniplex released a trailer for Sega’s Demon Salyer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles game. The trailer reveals that the game will add Gyūtarō as a paid DLC character in Japan.

- Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon Form)
- Zenitsu Agatsuma (Entertainment District Arc)

The game is adding new characters over the course of five releases. Previously, the game released Tengen in July and Nezuko Kamado (Advanced Demon Form) in August. Entertainment District arc versions of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were introduced as a set of three in September, and Daki debuted in October.
Nezuko, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were all originally added in the base game, but it was only their standard versions that players were able to select in the fighter.
