The Breakers suggests you keep your wits around you and know when to hide and run. The game has created quite a stir among otakus as this is the first time that Dragon Ball has introduced a seven vs. one multiplayer gameplay.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam in 2022. The game is currently preparing for its physical and digital release.

The new trailer gives us a glimpse into the upcoming game:

The PV shows Cell as the raider while other characters try to survive by using different skills. Both the raider and the survivors can power up. Once the raider reaches an optimum level, it can eviscerate all survivors in one fell swoop.

The unique gameplay calls for seven “survivors” and one “raider.” The raider will assume the role of a supervillain like Buu, Frieza, or Cell, while the survivors have to hide and use the various items provided in the game to defeat the raider.

Is it unfair for the raider to be outnumbered then? Not at all, because the raider’s power will by far surpass those of the survivors.

About Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama’s brainchild, came into existence in 1984. It has spawned several manga, anime, films, and other media adaptations.

The initial series follows Son Goku and his adventures when he was a child. It is here that we are first introduced to Goku as he meets Bulma, Yamcha, and others.

He trains in martial arts and participates in the World Martial Arts Championship for the first time in this series.
