Due to the pandemic, the concert will be performed under several restrictions, making a full-scale in-person audience impractical. The organizers had to improvise and decided to live stream the concert, which opened up the way for international distribution.

The official Twitter account of Pony Canyon USA announced that the Attack on Titan Orchestra Concert event would be live-streamed outside Japan on August 22 at 6 p.m. JST.

The live stream and the VOD will be available through the ZAIKO streaming service for 3800 Yen (about 34 USD).

The VOD will only be available only until seven days after the concert. The tickets for the event are now available till August 29, 2021.

The concert will feature Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto. They composed the original score for the latest anime season, along with guest vocals from Aimee Blackschleger, Eliana, Laco, and lyricist mpi.

The cast for the anime will also be attending the event. Yuki Kaji (Eren Yeager), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman), and Marina Inoue (Armin Arlert) are all set to make an appearance during the event.

Events like these are often Japan-exclusive for the most part, so people in the west aren’t able to experience this. This is probably the first time an event like this will be live-streamed internationally is very exciting.

Maybe after seeing the international demand for this stuff, we just might get to see these here in the US one day.
