Get a Glimpse of the 5th Loop in ‘Summer Time Rendering’ Part 2’s Trailer

Ushio’s unfortunate death held more mysteries than you can count. It changed many lives and triggered the mysterious events of Summer Time Rendering.

What’s more, Ushio’s death wasn’t an accident but a murder. Her childhood friend and adoptive brother, Shinpei, comes back to attend her funeral but gets caught up in unraveling the threads that lead to the center of it all.

If that wasn’t thrilling enough for you, then get this: Shinpei can go back in time whenever he dies, to the day of Ushio’s funeral. So, after figuring this out, Shinpei kills himself whenever the plan fails and starts over.

The good news is that the Summer Time Rendering anime won’t keep us waiting for long, since its official website has debuted a new teaser for the show’s second installment, slated for July 7, 2022.

Last season we got to know many things, but what if I told you that it was just the tip of the iceberg?

The trailer shows the ending scene of part 1, where Shinpei dies by poisoning himself and promises to go back in time again and again until everyone is safe. It is followed by a summary of every loop they’ve been in, landing on the fifth and upcoming loop.

Now the fifth is an interesting one as Shinpei has also pulled Shadow-Ushio with him into it. That means both of them retained memories from the previous loop, and now they need to find Nagumo and update her with everything.

Since Shinpei has Shadow-Ushio and her powers by his side, I’m sure they might make some progress to end it all this time.

The anime’s official website has also revealed a new character, Ryuunosuke, who’ll be played by Yuko Sanpei. She’s also the voice behind Boruto Uzumaki from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and Yuzuru Ema from World Trigger.

If you don’t want spoilers, I suggest you skip the next paragraph.

Ryuunosuke is Nagumo’s twin brother who was murdered 14 years ago. If he’s being teased in the video, then there’s a good chance that Shinpei and company will be traveling way back in time. Also, the video reveals that Hiruko can also perform the time loop with her eye, which only adds to its possibility.

The manga has already ended, and every episode generally adapts 4-6 chapters, except for a few episodes that adapted either one or nine chapters.

This also suggests that the anime will end within part 2, and everything will escalate in the last two or three episodes.
