Given Announces Brand-New OAD and Live-Action Drama For More Cute BL Action!

Given, the musical boys love series, had blown us away with its subtle emotional articulation last year. With both an anime series and a film under its wing, the franchise has made us fall in love with the cute characters and their relationships.

Of course, we can’t get enough of the cuteness and I guess the staff of the anime have finally caught up on it. Fans who missed Mafuyu and Ritsuka in Given’s anime film are in for a treat with this new announcement!

Given is not only receiving a new OVA but also a live-action series! The OVA disc will be shipped on 1st December with the manga’s 7th volume. The OVA’s title is Given: The One on the Flip-Side.

The upcoming original anime disc will focus on the activities of Ritsuka and Mafuyu during the events of the Given film that mainly focused on the relationship between Haruki and Akihiko.

The movie concentrated on the love and misunderstandings between the two elder members of the band, but we totally understand if you crave more action between the main couple.

About Given

The Given anime is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Natsuki Kizu.

Ritsuka Uenomiya was losing his love for guitar and everything he liked. However, his impromptu meeting with Mafuyu Sato changed it all.

Mafuyu’s song pierced his heart and made him want to find his love all over again. Both of them have unresolved pasts, so how will they help each other overcome it?
