Hogwarts Legacy devs announce behind-the-scenes on Back to Hogwarts Day

Hogwarts Legacy came out a while back in February. In 6 months, the game has amassed a substantial following and love from fans, generating over USD 1 billion for the developers – Avalanche Studios.

On “Back to Hogwarts Day” on September 1st, the official Twitter for Hogwarts Legacy announced that they will give a sneak peek of what went into making the hit title. The behind-the-scenes will be released at some point later this year.

This tweet accompanied a two-and-a-half-minute video showing the creative process behind the game’s creation, notably the Hogwarts Castle.

The developers went on to say that they wanted to create an authentic experience. This includes those who have read the Harry Potter books and those who have not.

The creation of Hogwarts Castle was “a quest for authenticity” by Avalanche Studios. They also included several YouTube clips showing how the game has impacted fans who always wanted to experience being a wizard or a witch in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

They called Hogwarts Legacy “the ultimate love letter to the fans.” The final part of the video reminisces how the studio went from the idea stage to actors recording the scenes and the musicians capturing the true essence of Hogwarts.

Fans are unhappy, given that the developers under-delivered many of their promises, including an interconnection between the main storyline, the side quests, and the morality systems.

Even though Hogwarts Legacy has been out for less than a year, fans are expecting a DLC or an update atleast to the game, expanding the horizons of the game.
