Idaten Deities In the Peaceful Generation to Premiere on 22 July

The official website for Idaten Deities In the Peaceful Generation has released a new trailer on 28 May (Friday). The video revealed a whole new pack of information that left fans even more excited for the new series.

 

 

The video streamed last Friday revealed the cast of Idaten Deities In the Peaceful Generation and the premiere date. The date has been set to 22 July 2021. It will premiere on Noitamina programming block (Fuji TV) from 12:55 A.M (JST)

Plot for Idaten Deities In the Peaceful Generation:

The story follows a group of deities called the “Idaten” who have been inactive for 800 years. 800 years ago the Idaten battle god’s sealed away the “demons” after a fierce battle.

However, 800 years later, the demons have awakened again. The present-day Idaten battle gods have not been in battle for a long, long time. Cue the reawakening of their god powers and a series of wonderful battles and action.

About Idaten Deities In the Peaceful Generation: 

Amahara launched the manga in 2018 and Coolkyoushinja illustrated it. Amahara had previously published the series independently before his commercial debut. It has been serialised in Young Animal, Hakusensha’s Seinen magazine.

So far three volumes have been released between 2019 and 2020. The fourth and fifth volumes are set to be shipped in June and July respectively. It is unclear if the manga will continue or end after the fifth volume.
