Joyful Teaser for ‘My Happy Marriage’ Teases July Release
A woman who was mistreated by her own family tells her story in “My Happy Marriage”. She does not inherit her family’s supernatural abilities. Her family has her engaged to a man with a reputation for cruelty as she learns to accept her bleak future.
She has finally come to terms with her fate when she learns something that could completely alter the course of her life. The evil man she dreaded did not even exist. She finally saw the warm side of him that she had been hoping for all along, hidden below his icy exterior.
The latest trailer for ‘My Happy Marriage’ was released by Kadokawa on Sunday. The release date is advertised alongside the opening theme music. On July 5, Netflix will begin streaming the first episode of the anime.
Kiyoka Kudo meets Miyo Saimori for the first time in the video. Miyo is sad because she keeps thinking about her problems. Kiyoka’s softer side emerges later on when he tries to reassure her. Miyo is also worried that her sister Kaya is waiting for her marriage to collapse and that Kiyoka does not realize that she has no special powers.
Riria sings the opening theme, “Anata no Soba ni” (By Your Side). Kashitar It’s “Itaphilosophy” serves as the closing theme tune.

My Happy Marriage
Akumi Agitogi and Tsukiho Tsukioka collaborated on a series of romance and fantasy light novels titled My Happy Marriage (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon). Since January of 2019, the series has been published by Fujimi Shobo under the Fujimi L Bunko banner.
Miyo, the protagonist, is treated like a servant by her family and is eventually married off to Kiyoka Kudou, a cruel and ruthless military captain, in a plot reminiscent of Cinderella. Miyo overcomes her doubts and rebuilds her shattered self-esteem while coming to know Kudou as a caring and generous man.
