Jujutsu Kaisen has released an all-new visual to tease the upcoming arc in the anime. It is the third key visual for the series. The anime will soon enter the Goodwill Event arc which will be featured in January 2021.

The visual shows the students of the Kyoto sister branch of Jujutsu. The Tokyo and the Kyoto schools will be participating in the annual Goodwill Event, which consists of battles between the students.

Some new characters will also be introduced in the upcoming arc. The third-year students consist of Aoi Todo, Momo Nishimiya, and Noritoshi Kamo.

The second years are Mai Zenin, Kokichi Muta and Kasumi Miwa. Arata Nitta is a first-year student.

The Goodwill Event will consist of both team and individual battles between the two schools. The winner of the previous year was Tokyo school. Will the two first years be a handicap this time?

Jujutsu Kaisen debuted on 3rd October 2020 and it will have 24 episodes in total. It is animated by MAPPA, the studio behind series like Yuri! On Ice and Attack on Titan Season 4.

Crunchyroll has licensed the anime for streaming outside Asia, as well as produced an English dub for it which premiered in November.

About Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen was initially published as a serialized manga in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018.

The story revolves around Yuuji Itadori, a high-school student who, despite hating athletics, is insanely fit. Yuuji gets involved in the world of sorcery when he swallows a powerful talisman to protect his friends from its curse.

On observing that Yuuji wasn’t affected much even when inflicted with this curse, Satoru decides to send Yuuji on a quest to save the world.
