Tagging the series as a simple rom-com will not do it justice. It has romance but with a twist where the lovers try to trick each other to confess first. The one to admit their love first loses in this battle of wits.

The live-action film of Kaguya-sama was broadcasted over television for the first time yesterday, and a big announcement followed it. A sequel film has been announced and it will premiere on 20th August.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai 2: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunōsen is the tentative title for the project. The cast and staff from the first film will be reprising their roles.

TOHO began streaming a new video yesterday to announce the upcoming film.

Sho Hirano (Miyuki Shirogane) and Kanna Hashimoto (Kaguya Shinomiya) announce the film’s title and its opening date while lightly bickering with each other in the video.

The first film premiered on 6th September 2019. It was aired on TV on 5th January 2021, and a video was released teasing a big announcement/confession.
