Her daily troubles will get even more real as the Mieruko-chan series is getting an anime adaptation.

What would you do if you suddenly encountered a ghost staring right at you? Any normal person would freak out, but Mieruko stares right through them as if they don’t exist. How long can she escape these creepy ghosts?

Mieruko-chan is getting adapted into an anime that will premiere sometime in 2021. A new teaser trailer is also revealed for the upcoming anime!

The new trailer has a contrasting narration and animation style. While the art style is cute, fluffy, and bright, the narration is creepy. The trailer also introduces the three main characters of the anime – Miko, Hana, and Julia.

Miko was not born with the ability to see the ghosts and it was a certain incident that triggered her senses. Why can she notice them now, and how can she go back to her normal life?

New visuals have also been revealed for the Mieruko-chan anime.

The visual shows Miko standing at a bus stop that looks deserted, but at a second glance, we can see that there is a scary ghost lurking too close to her! Only she can see it, and asking for help is of no use.

Izumi, the creator of Mieruko-chan, has also drawn a special illustration to commemorate the anime adaptation decision.

The upcoming anime will be scary but hilariously so with more than one erotically suggestive scene! Miku’s animated deadpan face is also something to look forward to as she realizes that Hana attracts trouble wherever she goes.
