The release of the Ultimate Edition Blu-ray of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed has been delayed to 2021 with no exact date.

A tweet by Nozomi Entertainment clarified that studio Sunrise provided the wrong version of the anime to Right Stuf, which led to the delay.

Shawne Kleckner, the CEO of Right Stuf, says that Sunrise has provided Gundam Seed to them. However, Sunrise provided the broadcast version of the anime instead of the HD Remastered version.

Due to this blunder, Right Stuf will be creating new BluRays for the series using the replacement materials that Sunrise has provided.
