As the guard comments, “The people are just beasts in human clothing,” which is why such a heavily guarded facility has been constructed. You can imagine very well what chaos the world will be thrown into now that they have broken free.

1. The Prison-Break

Tartarus is a highly secured prison, and its security measures (as depicted in the manga) are jaw-dropping. The entire prison is located on an island with floors that can be sealed instantly. It is also equipped with drones and heavily armed guards.

All For One realizes that Tartarus cannot be broken in and out of. So he comes to the conclusion of attempting both at the same time. He uses some of his quirks to link the prisoners’ minds to coordinate their moves. He also disables the electronic devices of the prison.

2. Who Escaped Tartarus?

All For One and Shigaraki are obviously the main focus of the prison-break as Shigaraki breaks All For One free. However, other criminals like Overhaul, Muscular, Moonfish have also escaped.

Kurogiri and Stain were shown in their prison cells before the action took place, and there is a high chance that they used the opportunity to their advantage and escaped during the confusion.
