The teaser shows Izumi happily running towards Shikimori when a car passes by too close. Shikimori instantly changes and pulls in her boyfriend.
She takes on her “protective tsundere” character and says, “Don’t make me work so damn hard,” with a flushed face.
This split-personality disorder is extremely adorable to Izumi, and he awaits these moments when Shikimori acts cool.

Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie is a romantic comedy manga series by Keigo Maki that started serialization on Twitter under the title ‘Kawaii dake ja Nai Onnanoko’ Manga in September 2018 before Magazine Pocket picked it up in February 2019.
The story revolves around Shikimori, who seems like the perfect girlfriend: cute and sweet when she wants to be but has a cool dark side that comes out when her boyfriend Izumi’s in trouble.
