Noblesse is one of the most famous and critically acclaimed manhwas out there. It has a huge fan following, especially a solid female fanbase. Fans were very excited about the anime. After all, prior to this, the series has a 2 episode OVA and that was unsatisfactory. Today, we are going to discuss Noblesse Season 2.
Noblesse is a Korean webtoon or manhwa. It was written by Jae-Ho Son and drawn by Gwang-Su Lee.
It was published under the super famous Naver Webtoon and later, it was one the first manhwas to get an English translation and was published in Line Webtoon.
The first season of its rivals manhwa’s anime already finished and we are hoping to see Tower Of God Season 2 and God Of High School Season 2 get announced soon.
The second season of Noblesse will be an instant hit because as soon as the first season aired, fans instantly fell in love with Raizel and Frankenstein.
So we all know a Season 2 is confirmed but don’t know when. And that is why this article.
We have discussed the factors that will contribute to the decision of whether there will be a Noblesse 2 or not and if yes then what will be the release date down below.
Will there be a Noblesse Season 2?
Recently, Crunchyroll has been adapting manhwa. And obviously, it started with the Big 3 of Manhwa – Tower of God, The God of Highschool and Noblesse.
All 3 adaptations were decent and while they didn’t receive the same level of ratings, they were all popular.
In order to have a new season, a series must have all 3 – enough source material to adapt, proper funding, and enough popularity, just like the upcoming Dragon Ball Season 2.
Noblesse ended in 2019. It has 8 volumes covering a couple story arcs each. The anime ended after the Lukedonia arc, which covers a big portion of Season 2.
Hence, there is more than enough material to make a new season. In fact, the anime can cover up a bunch of backlog chapters as well.
Next, we have funding. Noblesse Season 2 needs proper money to be made. And therein lies the problems. First of all, none of the Crunchyroll webtoon adaptations have announced a sequel yet.
And Noblesse being the latest one, will have to wait. Plus, with Sony recently acquiring Crunchyroll, the fate of the Originals is unclear.
Finally, we land on Popularity. Without a doubt, the Noblesse manhwa is ridiculously popular. In fact, it appears in the top 100 of Myanimelist manga rankings.
Unfortunately, the anime doesn’t have a solid position. Owing to subpar production, and a very muddled-up plot, the anime has suffered a lot. So the popularity and ratings are quite bad for Season 1.
From the above, we are not seeing strong chances for Noblesse Season 2. And the fault lies with Crunchyroll, not the manhwa. Crunchyroll’s 2016 adaptation is the real starting point.
Noblesse Season 1 is actually Season 2 and the real season 2 is actually Season 3. And then the adaptation is highly abridged!
It’s even hard for us manhwa readers to put together, the anime fans must be suffering a lot.
Noblesse Season 2 Release Date Announcement:
The release date of Season 2 has not been officially announced yet. Announcements usually take place months before the actual release. So, we think Noblesse Season 2 will be announced in 2022.
Nothing is set in stone; maybe Crunchyroll had always planned on releasing a single, muddled season to boost manhwa readers. Or maybe they are here to capitalize on an untapped story market and form a proper base of manhwa adaptations.
Either way, if Noblesse 2 gets announced, we will immediately put it in this section along with details.
We assume that just like the previous adaptations, Naver Webtoon and Crunchyroll will be producing the series and Crunchyroll will be the studio adapting it. So far, licensors are not known though.

Noblesse Anime Premise:
Noblesse deals with Cadis Etrama Di Raizel and Frankenstein. Cadis wakes up after a 820 year long sleep and is warmly welcomed by servant Frankestein. Cadis is the Noblesse, a pure blood Vampire charged with protecting all Nobles.
Frankenstein enrolls Cadis in the Yeran Highschool. Frankenstein has to protect his master from the greater evils and in the meantime, Cadis has to adjust to the new simplicities in life.
But for someone as important as Cadis, problems never end. The first season of the Noblesse anime just ended and now we can’t wait for Noblesse 2 release date.
Noblesse Season 2 Cast:
The old cast will definitely return if Noblesse Season 2 airs someday. Let us take a look at the present members:
1) Shingaki Tarusuke will be playing Cadis Etrama Di Raizel.
2) Hirakawa Daisuke will be playing Frankenstein again.
3) Oonishi Kousuke will return to play as M-21.
4) We also some of the other voice actors to return Kayano Ai and Hamada Youhei.
Apart from them, we also expect some new voice actors to be casted to play the upcoming characters.
