Sure, we’re digging deeper into the Pokemon world now with some bone-chilling shorts like the Hisuian Snow. While these installments are something we’ve always wanted to see, we sometimes miss Ash’s adventures with Brock and the others.

The franchise considered this and created the ‘Pokemon: The Arceus Chronicles’ special. This 4-episode long anime series is coming on Netflix on September 23, 2022, to take you on a super nostalgic trip.

Since the special is a part of Pokemon’s latest series, Master Journeys, it features Ash, Goh, and Dawn as the protagonists. As usual, they are exploring yet another town that Ash describes as ‘feels like being in a movie.’

In the next scene, the trailer hits us with a strong dose of the past as Brock makes his appearance. Along with him, we also see Cynthia, from Diamond and Pearl, preparing to attack with her Roserade.

No Pokemon series is complete without a criminal organization plotting something terrible. So, while riding on the wave of nostalgia, the trailer introduces Team Galactic, also from the Diamond and Pearl series.

Ash, Goh, Dawn, and Brock set out to stop Team Galactic’s plans of a ‘new world’ and protect the land of time and space. As a bonus, the video also teases that some legendary Pokemons will appear in the series.

Although the mini-series is for promoting the Pokemon Legends: Arceus game, fans are pretty hyped up to see some of their favorites back on screen.

Let’s see if this one brings a smile on our faces, tears in our eyes, or both.
