‘Overlord’ Season 4’s New Trailer Promises a Thrilling Colosseum Battle

Sitting on the throne of the newly founded Sorcerous Kingdom as the Sorcerer King, Ainz Ooal Gown is all prepared for Overlord’s season 4.

Running a kingdom is hard, especially when you’re unaware of the law and legislation. This is a problem that Ainz will face now that he has people of his own to rule and a desire to make his land a utopia for all beings.

But even with such pure intentions, someone as powerful as Ainz is bound to face fierce opposition from other kingdoms, and what’s a better way to settle differences than a battle. (Peaceful negotiations are just too boring).

Overlord anime’s new promotional video teases a dramatic clash in the upcoming season 4, slated to premiere on July 5, 2022.

The video also previews the season’s opening theme song ‘HOLLOW HUNGER’ by the duo OxT and the ending theme song ‘No Man’s Dawn’ by Mayu Maeshima.

Every other kingdom is planning an attack on Ainz and the Sorcerous Kingdom while the undead king is busy making plans and suggestions to turn his land into a paradise for everyone.

Unbeknownst to Ainz, Go Gin has been preparing to go against the Sorcerer King and end him for good. But we all know that Ainz cannot be taken down that easily because of limitless power, remember?

Meanwhile, in the Baharuth Empire, Jircniv is going insane as the imperial soldiers blame him for their misfortunes. Due to this, the Bloody Emperor starts losing all hope and goes into a spiral with a bad potion addiction.

The illustrator so-bin says that the season adapts the light novel’s 10th volume, which is his all-time favorite. If the artist of the series says that it’s his favorite arc, then it’s got to be one of the finest.

Besides, the trailers and visuals have already proven that we’re in for a ride this time.

However, one player named Momonga decides not to log out. Momonga is transformed into his skeletal avatar as the most powerful wizard.

The New World changes drastically with NPCs feeling emotion and Momonga smelling things, unlike in the game. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, Momonga strives to take over the new world the game has become.
