Want a combination of comedy and cuteness? If so, the upcoming anime is the perfect blend to make anyone smile.

Kei Ikeda’s Zenryoku Usagi gag comedy manga series gets the green light for a Reiwa-Era anime adaptation. Animation studio Rising Force is in charge of production.

The series features anthropomorphic rabbits working at a construction company whose motto is “Do your best” (zenryoku).

The motto applies not only to working but to all activities including eating and playing.

Ikeda first posted the manga online, and Media Factory (later Kadokawa) showed the manga in four volumes with two side-story volumes.

The manga already has a sequence of 52 shorts that aired in Japan (Tiny Anime Theater) program in 2008 (all through Japan’s earlier Heisei interval).

The manga is popular in the gag comedy genre as Ikeda and Media Factory have created several spinoff objects that feature the characters.

Zenryoku Usagi might be filled with comedy but the motto that it gives out is a strong one.

Working in a construction company doesn’t sound like an easy job, yet the rabbits do their best with a smile is something which I’m looking forward to in this new anime series.
