It seems Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker game is following the same footsteps by gaining popularity through the ‘classic Naruto’ characters, instead of standing out with its ‘Boruto exclusive’ characters.

And it is just a matter of time before our favorite version of ‘Naruto Uzumaki’ (as a leaf shinobi) can be seen in the game as well.

On Monday, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the addition of Naruto Uzumaki as the 22nd DLC character of its Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker game.

The company is expected to announce the character’s release at a later date.

The previously added characters to the game’s third season pass include, Kakashi Hatake (with both eyes Sharingan), Neji Hyūga, and Shisui Uchiha.

The game’s second season pass includes Zabuza Momochi, Haku, Ohnoki, Killer Bee, Sasuke Uchiha (from Boruto), Ino Yamanaka, Might Guy, Mei Terumi, and Naruto Uzumaki (as the Seventh Hokage in the Boruto anime and manga).

The previously released Naruto character in the second season pass is the seventh Hokage version of Naruto, and what we are getting now is the teenager Naruto we saw in the ‘Final Battle’ of Naruto Shippuden.

The fact that most of these DLC characters are officially dead in the series, makes the game even more nostalgic for the old-school Naruto fans like myself.

On the other hand, much to the fans’ dismay, Naruto Shippūden Ultimate Ninja Blazing smartphone game will be shutting down its services from February 9th, 2021.

Fans are expecting the third season pass of Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker game to compensate for the huge loss that we incurred with the shutting down of Naruto Shippūden Ultimate Ninja Blazing smartphone game.
