There are no signs of any serious mission happening anytime soon. Forgers are leading a carefree life for now but Anya’s midterms are coming up. The storm is about to brew up in the household. Spy x Family Episode 18 continues as Anya preps for midterms.
Earlier Anya couldn’t answer well to Damian about Bond. So she came prepared this time to not fail her mission in Operation Strix. She wants to befriend Damian at any cost.
Her plan fails but she could get his attention again as they’re paired in this new assignment. Damian has to get the attention of his father but he isn’t pleased to get Anya’s help.
It also shows the family condition of Damian’s household. His father doesn’t care for him as his second son. He isn’t willing to go back home but no one is concerned about him.
The character of Sylvia Sherwood is also explained. Her activities, occupation, and her techniques are shown to show her discreet nature.
It also shows how Loid and Sylvia carry out their meetings to share their progress on a daily basis. She avoids the gaze of the Secret Police to meet with Loid.
The recent episode was a simple one mostly focussing on Anya’s school and her antics. It wasn’t hilarious but was enough to bring genuine laughs to the viewers.

Spy x Family Episode 17 Recap
Anya and Becky walk to class while Becky talks about a romance drama she has seen recently but Anya only watches anime. Both of them meet Damian and his two friends along the way who make fun of their interests.
Anya purposefully dropped the family photo she brought to show Damian her dog. Damian ignored it but Becky picked it up and developed a crush on Loid. Becky decides to keep the photo with her.
For their arts and craft class, their usual teacher is absent hence the headmaster is filling it temporarily. Students are divided into groups and are asked to create 3D animals using the limited resources provided.
Anya is grouped with Damian in this assignment. She runs behind Becky to give her the family photo back as she has the chance to show it to Damian but he is angry about the fact that he’s paired with Anya.
Damian decides to take the project seriously as it will be evaluated by some important individuals at the school by creating something he thinks his father will be proud of. He decides to replicate the family’s griffin.
Anya decides to use paper to make a 3D model of Bond but it fails. Becky makes a model of Loid which impresses the headmaster even though they were outside his instructions.
While working with Anya, Damian realizes that she doesn’t follow instructions and does the polar opposite of what he asks. This wastes much of Damian’s time and he is scolded by the headmaster.
Anya transforms her Bond into a smaller female griffin to give him. It helps him win the first prize because of how impressive it looked to one of the judges.
Later that night, Damian calls his family butler, Jeeves, to let him know he won’t be home during the school break since his father won’t be home. Ha also asks about his father but he also knows his father doesn’t care for him.
Sylvia Sherwood’s backstory is revealed. By day, she is an attaché at the Westalis embassy in Ostania and at night, she is the commander of WISE’s intelligence agents. As a result of her flawless performance, she is nicknamed the “Fullmetal Lady” by her own agents.
Sylvia and Twilight signal their new meeting place to one another. Sylvia updates Twilight on the details of Donovan Desmond’s financial reports.
Then, Sylvia asks Twilight for an update on Operation Strix. He could just tell her about Anya’s progress as a child learning new skills which have no relevance to the mission.
Also, a flashback of Yor cooking for Yuri is shown. She used to cook for Yuri as a child and it was almost the same as Spy x Family Episode 16.
Spy x Family Episode 18 Spoilers
Spy x Family Episode 18 is broken down into two parts – “Uncle the Private Tutor” and “Daybreak”. The episode will split into two parts to show different events happening simultaneously.
In the first part, Anya’s midterms are coming up hence she needs a tutor now to score marks. The teacher taken for her is none other than Yuri, Yor’s brother who serves in the Secret Police.
Both of them are a chaotic duo and there is bound to be some hilarious interactions between them in the upcoming episode. Anya needs to score marks for her exams so that Loid’s mission doesn’t fail.
On the other hand, Loid is totally sure that nothing can save Anya so he decides to take the matter in his hands and change her answer sheet for her to score better.
Another agent by the name of Daybreak is also assigned to change Damian’s answer sheet. What will happen when two familiar faces meet?
Spy x Family Episode 18 is surely going to be a series of funny events as some odd people are put in combinations for it. Yuri’s appearance in another episode is also being received well by the viewers.
