The Beginning After The End Chapter 123 Recap

Here’s a brief recap of what happened in the previous chapter of TBATE.

Arthur and Virion try to calm the Beast Will surging outside Tessia’s body. Arthur manages to dodge the repeated attacks of the vines and thinks that cutting them would not harm her.

The mysterious orb that he obtained from the geezer at the store suddenly flies towards Tess. It triggers its power blasting away the vines around Tess revealing her body. After the explosion, Arthur snatches Tessia and wraps her in his veil.

Virion is confused as to what just happened but is thankful to Arthur for saving his granddaughter. Tessia wakes up and wonders why she was lying on the ground. She sees two blurry figures but after wiping her eyes, she is delighted to see the two.

Virion opens his arms expecting his granddaughter to run to him. Unfortunately for him, Tessia runs and embraces Arthur instead. Tess is happy to see that Arthur is alive. Seeing his granddaughter go the wrong way, he is left disappointed and embracing the wind.

Later, Tessia is taken to the doctor to check her condition. Arthur is still wondering what the orb was and if it actually helped Tessia. He decides to return back to the shop he obtained the orb from.

Meanwhile, Tessia seems to be in a stable condition. But her core had gone up three stages, from being at the Light Orange stage to the Silver stage. It has left her body exhausted.

The chapter closes with Virian explaining to Arthur the difference in power between a silver core mage and white core mage. He explains why the lances do not take over the Kingdom in spite of their power. In a closing statement, Virian asks Arthur if he believes in Deities?

The Beginning After The End Arthur

This discovery may finally provide Arthur the opportunity to become stronger. He knows that he can’t beat his adversaries at his current level and the deities may be the answer he was searching for.

We can definitely expect to learn more about these unknown deities this coming Friday.

Another person to look out for is Luca. He was undoubtedly a powerful wizard but we have no idea about the new powers he obtained by joining the enemies.

Tessia has also leveled up in the meantime, so it will be fascinating to see how their battle turns out.
