Norman, Emma, Ray, and the other children have successfully escaped the Gracefield house in the first season.

What awaits them now is even more dangerous than the sheltered environment that they are used to. Endless demon-infested forests will be their next challenge.

A new promotional video has been released for the upcoming season 2 of The Promised Neverland. Season 2 will premiere on 7th January on the NoitaminA block of Fuji TV in Japan.

The PV shows the Gracefield children escaping into the woods outside the house they were raised in. They will soon realize that demons are not their only enemies.

Minerva’s owl insignia is shown in the PV – the codes in the symbol, when solved, gives the children coordinates for survival.

A new visual has also been released for the upcoming season. Mujika and Emma are seen sharing the same dining table.

Two new characters will be joining the cast. Sonju and Mujika. Both of these characters are demons but are exercising restraint from eating humans. The cast for these characters are:

Four commercial videos were revealed for the live-action adaptation of The Promised Neverland, which will be released on 18th December 2020.

The videos show glimpses from the live-action series. They focus on the first instance when Emma discovers the truth, Isabella and Krone, as well as how the children decided to escape.

About The Promised Neverland

Created by Kaiu Shirai, this series debuted in a Weekly Shonen Jump manga in 2016. Licensed by VIZ Media for an English Language release, this series has gained immense popularity, selling 4.2 million copies in a concise period.

It’s set in the year 2045. Emma, an 11-year-old orphan, living in Grace Field House is a self-contained orphanage housing her and 37 other orphans.

The orphans are allowed complete freedom, except to venture beyond the grounds or the gate, which connects the house to the outside world.

One night, Emma comes to know the truth about the Orphanage and it’s connections to the demons.

Determined to break out of Grace Field House, Norman and Emma join with Ray to find a way to escape along with their other siblings.
