Trailer of ‘In/Spectre’ Season 2 Introduces Yuki-Onna and Masayuki

A new adventure is awaiting Kotoko and Kurou, and that means a bigger threat than Steel Lady Nanase is in the making. In/Spectre fans can’t wait to find out what it is this time, and I fully understand why.

Season 1 was simply mind-blowing. It was so gripping that once you start watching, you’ll get up only after finishing the whole thing. The entire plot around Rikka’s imaginary ghost and Kotoko busting it through the power of lies was epic, and I only expect the upcoming season to outdo it, which I feel it will.

Crunchyroll and In/Spectre anime’s official YouTube channel has revealed a new trailer for the show’s season 2, slated to come out in January 2023.

The trailer introduces us to two new characters, Yuki-Onna and Masayuki Muroi. Both of them will be central characters in the upcoming season, as we can guess from the trailer itself.

It starts with Kotoko and Kurou standing in the middle of a forest surrounded by various yokai. Kotoko says her signature phrase and how she protects yokai and the supernatural as their God of Wisdom and maintains order in both human and demon worlds.

The scene switches to Yuki-Onna and Masayuki having ice cream as the latter narrates how he met Yuki in the snowy mountains as she saved him from dying. The two lived a peaceful life together until one day when they received the news that Masayuki’s ex-wife had been killed.
