If you are a fan of androgynous clothing, goth aesthetic, and heavy punk/metal music, you’ve come to the right place because this anime aims to satiate your every visual kei desire and more.

The Visual Prison anime is set to premiere this October with awesome music that will reflect on its genre.

Since the anime will feature several bands, it’s no surprise that it will have multiple songs to offer. Its theme songs will also be performed by the bands that will be shown in the main story.

The opening theme song of the anime, “Zankoku Shangri-la,” will be performed by the band Oz. Another in-story band, Los†Eden, will be performing the ending theme song, “Bloody Kiss.”

“Gyokuza no Gemini” is the theme song of Visual Prison and it will be performed by the Eclipse band. Eclipse is also performing the song “Guilty†Cross” which has been featured in the latest trailer of the series.

This gothic anime that mixes visual kei with vampires also contains its own gothic mascot! Panya, which seems like a weird mix-up of a panda and a cat, will be voiced by none other than Tomokazu Sugita, the voice actor of Gintoki.

Staff members of the anime have already been revealed, and it looks like we are in for a treat.

As you might have already noticed, the cast members either contain voice actors who have already played characters in other music-based anime or those who sing theme songs. You can bet all the musical pieces will be worth jamming to.

Not only is it going to be a music fest but with the added lure of handsome vampires. Honestly, what more can we really ask from an anime?

About Visual Prison

Visual Prison is an original anime by Noriyasu Agematsu and A-1 Pictures. The anime heavily depends on the visual kei subgenre of Japanese rock.

Visual Prison is an annual event in Harajuku where vampires perform the visual kei type of music. Ange Yuki, an orphan, stumbles across the Event one day and encounters his favorite artist.

The bands and music strike a chord deep within him.
