Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: Season 2 is coming this year!

The first season of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon ended a couple of weeks ago in Japan. However, it seems like the wait for the second cycle of theInuYashasequel will not last long.

After all, this weekend it was announced that the second season of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon will premiere in the fall of this year in Japan. That is, the new adventures of Towa, Setsuna and Moroha will begin to appear during the last quarter of this 2021.

The second season ofYashahime: Princess Half-Demon was announced after the premiere of the conclusion of the first season, but at that time no further details regarding its plot were revealed.

In that sense, now there is finally a date for the premiere in Japan. But the main precedent about the new cycle of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is still the promotional image starring Towa that was previously revealed.

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, or Hanyō no Yashahime, has a total of 24 episodes for its first season.

Here’s what it is about:

In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family. Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a Demon Slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister. Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.

The first season got generally favourable reviews, and is available to watch on Netflix and Crunchyroll.
