Boruto Ep 219 Preview

The last Boruto anime episode ended with Isshiki’s death and everyone is trapped in the space-time dimension. Since Sasuke’s rinnegan was destroyed by Momoshiki’s attack, Boruto is their only hope.

Boruto must use his Karma to open a space-time portal to Konoha so that they can return home.

Episode 219 of Boruto anime will cover Chapter 55 and 56 from the manga.

Here’s the English sub preview shared at the end of the last episode telling us what we can expect next. The title of Ep 219 is “Return” and it’s all about the team’s return to Konoha.

The episode starts with Boruto crying over Naruto’s body thinking he is dead. Sasuke is quick to notice that Kurama is gone, but Naruto shrugs off for now and will discuss when they return to Konoha.

Kawaki says that he has full faith in Boruto and knows that he can open the portal to Konoha. Boruto tries but he is having difficulty using the power to open a door to Konoha.

Boruto is afraid that Momoshiki might manifest again if he uses his powers. But Kawaki puts some pressure and suddenly a portal opens.

The scene then shifts back to Isshiki. He is guarding the ten tails.

Isshiki looks at the white karma on his body thinking how he is envious of Kawaki for not becoming Isshiki’s vessel. But suddenly the white karma on his palm disappears and Isshiki pops out in an astral form.

Isshiki tells Code about his death and how Kawaki was able to trick him into planting karma onto his shadow clone thus leading to Isshiki’s demise.

Code is furious to know that the person he idolized his whole life is now dead. Isshiki explains how he can feed either Boruto or Kawaki to the ten tails and grow a chakra fruit by himself and eat it to become a real Ohtsutsuki.

This is where we stop. These are only early spoilers, so we recommend watching Boruto 219 English subbed episode when it airs online.
