Maybe that’s why the series is still so strong; however, other anime series are not this lucky but still hold a special place of nostalgia. But these classic series are hard to come by due to many complications.

Discotek Media Licenses New Titles for Bluray Disks Release on September 28

That’s where Discotek Media, a Boutique DVD/Blu-ray publisher, comes in!

Discotek recently announced their new Blu-ray titles for pre-order; the lineup includes five new classic anime films and TV shows. All the series are available for preorder through the Right Stuf Anime portal and will be released on 28th September. 

Among the line-up includes Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare, the feature film that follows Conan and his colleagues fight the sinister forces of the Black organization. The Darkest Nightmare is the twentieth movie in the venerable Detective Conan series.

The film will be available in English Dubbed as well as Subbed version.

The rest of the Discotek catalog includes:

  • Fatal Fury OVAs: 
    •  The Blu-ray set will include a brand new remaster, trailers, an art gallery, and a new commentary. The OVAs will be available in English and Japanese. 
  • City Hunter 2 Set 2
    • The Blu-ray set contains episodes 39-63 of the anime directed by Kenji Kodama. The anime will include subtitles but no English dubbing. 
  • Super Dimension Century Orguss
    • The Blu-ray set will include a new remaster, cleaned-up subtitles, new dubs synced with video, and various videos from the vintage English releases.
  • Galaxy Cyclone Braiger
    • The Blu-ray set contains episodes 1-39 of the anime directed by Takao Yotsuji, all in standard definition on a Blu-ray disc. The anime will include subtitles but no English dubbing.

This is an excellent opportunity for fans to revisit their favorite childhood anime and relive those memories or even just a good token of nostalgia. And unlike, streaming services the Blu-ray Disk can be with you forever!

About Detective Conan

Detective Conan is a detective manga series by Gosho Aoyama. It was first serialized in 1994 and has been published for over two decades.

Shinichi Kudo, or Conan is a high school detective who has been turned into a child after consuming a toxin.

Along with the FBI and a variety of characters, he solves mysterious cases. He takes on the name of Conan and tries to pin down the syndicate responsible for shrinking him.
