‘Lycoris Recoil’ Anime’s New Promo Video Features the Reserved Takina
Cafes are one of the most relaxing places to exist but imagine one that also solves everything from personal to zombie-related problems. That’s something you’ll only get to see in Lycoris Recoil.
The Lyco-Reco (Riko-Riko) cafe runs on the motto “No matter what you order, we’ll serve it up…!” and their customers took that quite literally. However, there is no problem that the cafe workers Chisato and Takina can’t solve.
To tell you more about these fantastic protagonists, Lycoris Recoil has revealed their second character video featuring Takina Inoue. The anime will come out in July.
Unlike the friendly and energetic Chisato, Takina is more reserved and quiet. The video shows her being cool-headed in every situation and isn’t very expressive no matter what happens.
Even though Takina appears nonchalant, she deeply cares about the people around her and does everything to make customers feel warm and welcome. She actively solves various issues for the cafe’s customers whenever they need it.
The teaser also shows Takina’s character development of how she used to be detached and indifferent but grows to be warm and affectionate around others.
‘Lycoris Recoil’ Teases the Cute and Carefree Chisato with New Teaser
Chisato and Takina’s life gets absurd at times due to the weird and out-of-the-world daily requests from customers like fighting monsters, business deals, family issues, and zombie apocalypse.
But the other employees like Mizuki, Kurumi, and the manager Mika are always there to support the girls.
Moreover, their polar opposite personalities make the story even more fun, and I can’t wait to see how they tackle being baristas and going on life-changing adventures.

Lycoris Recoil is an original anime by Shingo Adachi. It is set to premiere in summer 2022.
The anime focuses on a cafe called Lyco-Reco (Riko-Riko). With four employees and an eccentric manager, the cafe offers Japanese and Western cuisine.
