‘A Couple of Cuckoos’ Part 2 Trailer Teases a Summer Festival Arc

Can’t decide between academic rivals or forced marriage tropes? Then A Couple of Cuckoos is the anime for you as it has both of these in abundance (with an adoptive sister trope too, but we like to ignore it).

Nagi is stuck in a harem with his crush, forced fiancee, and a sister who finds out she’s not blood-related to him. At the end of part 1, he realizes that he loves all of them equally and gets more confused about his feelings.

A Couple of Cuckoos anime’s second cour is coming on July 23, 2022, to show us who gets the first place in Nagi’s heart.

Kadokawa has revealed a trailer previewing the show’s new ending theme, ‘Hello Hello Hello,’ by Eir Aoi.

Last part was full of chaos as all the main characters were introduced, and we saw them opening up slowly. Everyone’s got their strengths and weaknesses, and part 1 was all about that to bring us closer to the characters.

However, part 2 will be more emotionally challenging and fun with a summer festival arc planned for it.

The trailer previews Nagi and Erika enjoying fireworks at the festival as the internet celebrity states how this summer was unforgettable for her. Soon, we get to see Hiro, Sachi, and Erika hinting to Nagi about what they feel for him, further complicating his feelings about them.

While Erika and Hiro are at their normal behavior, Sachi surprisingly declares that she will go to the same school as Nagi. As funny as it sounds, Nagi’s life is going to get even more complex with Sachi’s arrival at his school.

‘A Couple of Cuckoos’ Set to Receive Cute Mini-Anime and 2-Cour Run

I’m itching to know how Nagi’s going to face the girls with such complex feelings in his heart this time.

Cour 2 will be much better than the first, and I’m so ready for what they have planned for us.

About A Couple of Cuckoos

A Couple of Cuckoos or Cuckoo’s Fiance is a manga by Miki Yoshiwara. It was launched in January 2020 in the Weekly Shounen Magazine.

Nagi and Erika were switched at birth and never knew their real parents. On the day that Nagi was supposed to meet his natural parents, he encounters Erika and is roped into helping her out of an arranged marriage.

Both of them pretend to be girlfriend and boyfriend only to realize later that they are actually fated to marry each other.
